The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind?

Could Bob Dylan really be right, is the answer really blowing in the wind?

A recent Newsweek article on the increasing amount of voluntary corporate support of renewable energy sources seems to indicate that perhaps Dylan was right!

Why do you think companies are making this move, even if it cost them more to do so?

Nature always finds a way

Tuesday, March 7th, 2006

They say that nature always finds a way– and she did again! Bacteria have been found to eat Styrofoam material and turn it into usable plastic.

As the article on MSNBC outlines, the plastic made from this process:

  • can be used to make plastic forks and packaging film,
  • is resistant to heat, grease and oil
  • lasts a long time
  • biodegrades in soil and water

This should begin to help take care of the 3 million tons of Styrofoam is produced every year in the U.S — what will mother nature think of next?

When will we learn that nature always has a solution, if we only are open to finding it!
