The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind?
Could Bob Dylan really be right, is the answer really blowing in the wind?
A recent Newsweek article on the increasing amount of voluntary corporate support of renewable energy sources seems to indicate that perhaps Dylan was right!
Why do you think companies are making this move, even if it cost them more to do so?

I think it is a response to the market. My theory: The Baby Boomers families are grown, and they are at the peak of their earning power. At this point, they are able to vote with their dollars, and they are supporting energy alternatives, even if it costs a few pennies more. For example, I know that, even though it often costs a little more, I personally have switched to buying gas at BP. I want to reward and encourage their research into renewable energy. They aren’t “perfect,” but they are making an effort.
